Thanks to the public's help, police in North Wildwood have been able to track down and charge two teenagers in connection with an assault earlier this month.

North Wildwood Police were initially looking for a suspect from the July 4th incident, and asked for the public's assistance in identifying one of the suspects.

Police say the public came through, and they were able to identify the suspect whose photo was shared. The other suspect was previously identified.

This was all in relation to and incident which involved the assault of of two juveniles on July 4th in the area of 7th Avenue & JFK Boulevard.

North Wildwood Police worked with the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office and charges have now been filed against two boys from Philadelphia - a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old.

Both boys turned themselves in to police in North Wildwood on Tuesday. They were processed and turned over to the custody of their parents, pending a court appearance. Both have been charged with 3rd-degree Aggravated Assault and 3rd-degree Conspiracy.

Since they are under the age of 18, their names have not been released.
