
Two Teens Recently Shot in Atlantic City
Cops in Atlantic City say two 17-year-olds were recently wounded in separate shootings in the city.
According to police, late last Saturday night officers responded to the 500 block of New York Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. Once they arrived, they found a 17-year-old victim from Atlantic City with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment.
Then late Monday night, officers responded to the 500 block of Indiana Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert where they learned a different 17-year-old shooting victim was inside a residence in the 1500 block of Caspian Place. That teen was also taken to ARMC-City for treatment.
Both investigations are being led by the ACPD Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to contact police at (609) 347-5766.
