
3 arrested for stealing ice cream machine: Monroe Twp., NJ, Police
Three people are facing charges for allegedly trying to steal an ice cream machine from a restaurant in Gloucester County early Wednesday morning.
The Monroe Township Police Department says that at about 4:25 AM, their officers saw suspicious activity happening at Big Daddy’s Seafood on the Black Horse Pike near Prosser Avenue.
That "activity" was three people trying to remove a commercial ice cream maker.
An investigation revealed that one of those people, Keith Blackwell, allegedly committed burglary, criminal mischief, and theft by taking items from the business on numerous dates.
Those who were taken into custody are as follows:
- Arrested: Keith Blackwell, 65, Gloucester City
- Charges: Burglary, theft, criminal mischief, conspiracy, criminal attempt, possession of burglary tools
- Arrested: Brian Hoskins, 42, Woodbury
- Charges: Criminal attempt, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools
- Arrested: Nicole Figueroa, 41, Camden
- Charges: Conspiracy, hindering apprehension
Complaint warrants were issued for all three people, and the trio was remanded to jail.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
