Authorities in Monroe Township, Gloucester County, say a man from Williamstown was killed last weekend in an accident between a motorcycle and a truck.

The crash happened around 11:30 Saturday morning, May 6th, on Clayton Road near Railroad Avenue.

According to police, 46-year-old Jason Woody of Deptford was driving a 2018 Freightliner truck westbound on Clayton Road we he turned left onto Railroad Ave. in front of 36-year-old Steven Bass of Williamstown, who was on a 2012 Harley Davidson FLH headed eastbound.

Bass was taken to Jefferson Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Monroe Township Police at (856) 728-9800.
