WPG Talk Radio is Your Official Wildwood Rally Radio Station
Make no mistake about it, we are living history!
Regardless of your personal political party politics, a Presidential visit is a very rare occurrence. In fact, the last one in our Southern New Jersey region (Hammonton) was President Ronald Reagan on September 19, 1984. That was 36 years ago.
President Donald Trump's fast-approaching visit to Wildwood, New Jersey may be the last time that this ever happens during your entire lifetime.
Regarding President Reagan's visit in 1984, Hammonton was a town of only 13,000 people. President Reagan drew more than 25,000 people to his speech. It marked the third time in history that an American President appeared in Hammonton. Ulysses S. Grant briefly appeared there during a train stop in 1846, and, Theodore Roosevelt's Whistle Stop campaign of 1912.
President Reagan specifically mentioned during his speech that "Hammonton is the Blueberry Capital of the World." There has been a positive lasting effect in Hammonton all these many years later since Reagan's visit.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, (7:00 p.m.) at The Wildwoods Convention Center, United States President Donald Trump will hold a Trump-Pence 2020 Campaign Rally.
It's hard to calculate the goodwill and economic benefit that President Trump's visit will mean to Wildwood and the surrounding communities. Hotels and Motels that are usually closed will be open. Restaurants and other establishments will enjoy a huge economic boon.
New memories will be made. History will be made. You've probably watched a President Trump rally on television. It is such an enhanced sensory experience actually attending in person.
I attended a former President George W. Bush rally, when he was the sitting President. Being there, exceeds anything that you can experience by watching it on television. It's not even close.
You will actually feel the excitement and high energy. You will see how The President feeds off of your positive energy and cranks it up to a higher gear.
I strongly believe that you should treat this like a once in-a-lifetime experience.
WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM and 1450 AM is your "Official Wildwood Rally Radio Station." I've talked to so many of you on-and-off-air about this upcoming exciting event. The mild weather will be gone by rally event day. The Wildwoods Convention Center is right off the beach area. Lower temperatures and possible enhanced prevailing winds, etc. could be in effect. We'll be closely monitoring this and all relevant details and we'll keep you regularly apprised on-air, at WPGTalkRadio.com and our WPG smartphone app.
In the meantime, get your game plan together and enjoy this unique and rare opportunity to be in such close proximity to the sitting President of The United States.
