YouTube Labels Trump Endorsement Of NJ Congressman ‘Misinformation’
United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, R-NJ-2 has hit back hard against YouTube after the “Big Tech” behemoth declared a video from (President Trump’s) Mar-a-Lago as “misinformation.”
At one point, the video featuring former President Donald Trump endorsing Van Drew for re-election was even taken down by YouTube.
Van Drew believes that there is a correlation between the video being declared as misinformation this past week, only taking place after Van Drew publicly called for “Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas to resign and blasted the Biden Administration’s new national Disinformation Czar Nina Jancowicz on national television,” said Van Drew.
“I am honored to be running for re-election as New Jersey’s ONLY Trump Endorsed Conservative and it’s going to take a Hell of a lot more than some tech executives 3,000 miles away in Silicon Valley to stop us from getting that message out right here in South Jersey,” said Van Drew.
“Sadly, this is exactly the type of censorship Conservatives have come to expect from Big Tech and why I have been speaking out so forcefully on national television and fighting so aggressively to stop the Biden Administration’s new ‘Ministry of Truth’ within the Department of Homeland Security,” said Van Drew.
Van Drew said that “these are strategies and tactics you would expect to see employed in the former Soviet Union or by Communist China to silence political opponents - not here in the United States of America.”
It is selective examples like this that have many Americans concerned about censorship by the various social media companies.
Can you imagine a Bill Clinton, Barack Obama or Joe Biden enforcement video being labeled as “misinformation?"
What was once argued as opinion, is now generally accepted as fact that it is Conservatives who are regularly censored on social media and not Liberals.
