82-year-old Woman Struck and Killed by Car in Millville

An 82-year-old woman from Millville was hit by a car and killed in the city Wednesday night.

NJ.com reports Immacolat Delvicario was crossing the 1300 block of Fairton Road around 7:40 Wednesday night when she was struck by a car. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene. The driver stopped following the crash, according to The Daily Journal, and was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
