There has been a very effective collaboration between Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds and the local police departments.
It’s working, as their efforts to take guns off the streets are taking place on a regular basis.
Latest Gun Taken Off Of The Streets Of Atlantic City
On Monday, May 19, 2025, Thomas Jordan, 34 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey entered a guilty plea to the following criminal charge:
- second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds Is Effective and Delivering Results
Reynolds has been obtaining guilty pleas at a rapid pace. In exchange for the latest guilty plea, it will be recommended that Jordan receive s 5-year sentence in New Jersey state prison.
The prison stay will be followed by a 42-month period of time where Jordan will not be eligible for parole.
The Details Of The Jordan Guilty Plea
On December 26, 2021, Hamilton Township Police Officers observed the defendant commit numerous traffic infractions. Based on these observations, a traffic stop was conducted. After a lawful search, police located a loaded firearm in the defendant's vehicle, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Sentencing Of Jordan
The sentencing phase will be handled by New Jersey Superior Court Judge Dorothy Incarvito-Garrabrant, on September 19, 2025.
