Atl. Co. Sheriff Candidate Joe O’Donoghue Piling Up Endorsements
Atlantic County Sheriff candidate Joe “Tokyo” O’Donoghue is piling up relevant campaign endorsements over the freshman incumbent, Eric Scheffler.
Multiple law enforcement sources have confirmed the following.
1) The entire Cape - Atlantic PBA’s, who have worked with Sheffler, have instead given Scheffler the equivalent of a vote of no confidence and have voted to formally endorse O’Donoghue.
Sources have confirmed that the vote was unanimous.
However, I have confirmed that a Scheffler appointee has filed a grievance, alleging that members were not properly notified. Another phone vote will take place in about one week.
The move is being viewed as a thinly disguised political stunt.
It’s now official. Here’s the endorsement letter.
2) The national “Back the Blue” Organization titled “Protect our Police” have also endorsed Joe O’Donoghue (see attached).
3) The Michael Strange GOLD STAR FAMILIES foundation (this started with Seal Team 6 families from the Osama Bin Laden raid and Extortion 17) has endorsed and are working with O’Donoghue.

It’s always a bad sign for the incumbent when he is losing support from law enforcement in favor of a challenger.
An O’Donoghue confidential aide has confirmed that more support will be announced later this week.
Additionally, I have learned that several potentially explosive issues regarding Scheffler will be revealed on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 9:05 a.m., during an exclusive interview with O’Donoghue on “Hurley in the Morning” on WPG Talk Radio 95.5
Scheffler will be invited to address and respond. Evidence will be presented to support the issues that will be discussed.
O’Donoghue also had a very successful fundraising event this past Saturday, September 12, 2020 with United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew.
The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly muted the General Election season. However, there is still a lot of campaigning going on.
