
Atlantic City, NJ, Man Charged With Manslaughter Of 3-Month Old
Important work by the Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department has led to the arrest of a man, who is now charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter in the death of his own three-month old daughter.
What Happened?
On November 12, 2025, Atlantic City Police Officers Officers responded a 911 call involving an unresponsive infant.
The child was rushed to the hospital but ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The child suffered severe injuries determined to be the result of blunt force trauma to her head and neck, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
First-Degree Aggravated Manslaughter
On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Antonio Reyes, 27, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, was arrested on a first-degree aggravated manslaughter charge in the death of his three-month old daughter.

The Prosecutor's Office Has Requested For Pre-Trial Detention Of Reyes
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion to detain Reyes. It is tentatively scheduled for this week.
The investigation remains open, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
