An Atlantic City man is recovering from being shot in the city early Sunday morning.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, officers responded to the 600 block of New York Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert at around 12:10 early Sunday morning. Cops on the scene were able to locate evidence of gunfire. Shortly after, a shooting victim, described only as a 22-year-old man from Atlantic City, arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment of his serious injuries.
