Sheriff Eric Scheffler has announced that his office will suspend certain services provided to the public effective immediately.

Scheffler said that sheriff sales, public fingerprinting and the taking of public DNA samples will not take place or be performed until April 16, 2020, due to the Coronavirus.

These precautions, in addition to internal changes, are being set in place in an effort to protect his staff who are in constant contact with the public and inmates.

Should circumstances change to the positive prior to April 16th Scheffler said he would reopen the services.
