Ban Russian Oil? NJ, Are You Willing To Pay Even Higher Gas Prices?
Gasoline prices are skyrocketing in New Jersey and throughout the country.
Earlier this week, we outlined the price increases. They have increased twice more since we wrote that column three days ago.
Here is a link to our previous coverage on the sharp rise in gasoline costs.

It’s now $ 4.00 and higher for a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey. It’s approaching $ 5.00 for a gallon of premium blend.
There is presently a big push to ban all Russian oil imports into America.
The United States of America currently buys 675,000 barrels of oil from Russia each and every day.
This represents more than $ 70 million a day that the American taxpayers send directly to Russia.
13 months ago, America was energy independent and a net oil exporter. Now, America is heavily reliant on Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and other foreign suppliers to meet our daily demands.
In a rare bi-partisan moment, both political parties are coming together on this issue. There is agreement that helping Russia finance its illegal, full-scale invasion of Ukraine is unacceptable and morally wrong.
When asked about this yesterday, Nancy Pelosi, United States Speaker of The House of Representatives didn’t hesitate and said “I’m all for that, ban it - ban the oil coming from Russia, yeah,” said Pelosi.
United States Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC believes that there are currently 75 Senators who would vote to ban Russian oil imports.
Last night, I was with United States Congressman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio-4. I asked him about America buying 675,000 barrels of oil from Russia each and every day.
Jordan didn’t hesitate saying, “We need to get back to where we were and meet our own energy needs here at home.”
Jordan was here in Atlantic County (The Historic Smithville Inn) to support his fellow United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew.
NOTE: Later today, we’re writing a separate article about Congressman Jordan’s high profile visit to Atlantic County, New Jersey on behalf of Van Drew.
Incredulously, President Joe Biden does not support a return to American energy independence.
Presently, Biden won’t even answer the question about Russian oil imports to America.
The question for you to ponder: Do you support banning all Russian oil imports … if it means even higher gasoline prices here in New Jersey?
