Kellyanne Conway, Counsellor to United States President Donald Trump will leave her position at the end of this month.

Conway’s loss is incalculable. She has been one of the most focused, fierce and fearless defenders of President Donald Trump for more than four years.

Conway is the first female campaign manager to win a Presidential election (2016).

Conway is an expert pollster and political strategist. She possesses multiple skill sets that you almost never see in just one person.

Conway is also one of the few people who can successfully tangle with the biased, anti-Trump national media.

You have to be nimble, real fast and incredibly well informed to handle the American media, who have been more aggressive and adversarial than ever before.

Conway has four children. To add to the stress level, her husband has been brutally critical of President Trump for years.

Conway shared the following last night in announcing her departure.

“We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids,” she said in a statement. “Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months.” Wrote Conway.

George Conway also confirmed last night that he will also step away from his political commentary.

In politics, when people are leaving, they almost always say it’s to spend more time with their family.

Some times it’s true. Many times it’s not.

In Kellyanne Conway’s case, I have no doubt that her pronouncement is genuine and truthful.

It’s hard for “normal” people to process and understand just how much pressure there is to be on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for more than 4 years.

Add to that the immense pressure when you serve at the very highest level of our federal government, working directly for The President of The United States.

Prior to Conway’s announcement last night, she was scheduled to speak this Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention.

I am hopeful and believe that she will still deliver her speech. You can expect it to be one of the best of this week.

Few have Conway’s ability to effectively communicate in such a precise and memorable way.

Conway will be sorely missed during the next 71 days and beyond.

Fortunately, on the campaign side, President Trump is in great hands with Bill Stepien.

Since Stepien became National Campaign Manager for President Trump 2020, the campaign has displayed great focus.

This focus has resulted in supreme tightening in the national polling data, and, the President has achieved a sharp rise in all Battleground state polls.

Simply put, Stepien is a winner.
