Crash Claims the Life of a 71-year-old Man in Evesham Twp., NJ
Police in Evesham Township, Burlington County, say a 71-year-old man was killed in a crash Sunday morning.
The accident, according to the Evesham Township Police Department, happened around 10:45 in the area of Hopewell Road and Deerfield Avenue.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the driver, and sole occupant, of one of the involved vehicles, Edward Hensley (71 years of age from Marlton), was deceased on scene.
Two people in another vehicle were both taken to an area hospital with minor, non-life threatening, injuries.
Police say an investigation determined that Hensley was traveling southbound on Hopewell Road when he crossed the center line and went into oncoming traffic, striking the other vehicle.
Authorities say the investigation is continuing and they are still trying to determine if other factors contributed to the accident.
