Four male inmates escaped from the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center overnight and are still at large this morning.

According to Ted Greenberg from NBC 10, multiple law enforcement agencies actively searching for 4 male inmates who escaped from the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center in Egg Harbor City. Authorities say they assaulted a corrections officer, stole a car, crashed into a building, then continued their escape on foot. Officials say schools in the area will be closed today. Descriptions of the inmates:

One of the suspects is 18, one is 17 and two are 16-years-old. No names have been released. The teens were wearing minimal clothing when they escaped — one in a white boxers, a cream shirt and flip-flops and two others in thermal pants, white boxers and possibly a white T-shirt.

1. Black male, 190 lbs, white boxers, cream colored shirt, flip-flops
2. Black male, 5’7, 160 lbs, cream thermal pants, white boxers, thermal shirt, possible white t shirt
3. White male, 6’2, 175 lbs, same description but with socks
4. (No further description given) 5’9, 150 lbs, khaki pants, black polo w/ letters AYC embroidered, black sneakers, possible pink socks
