New Jersey Republican State Chairman Bob Hugin has put together an ambitious and impressive New Jersey GOP Statewide Leadership Summit.

The two day special event will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, 2022 at Harrah’s Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City New Jersey.

The marquee event of the Leadership Summit will be the Speaker Series Luncheon from 12:45- 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, featuing keynote speaker Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Donald Trump.

Dr. Carson is a world-renowned neurosurgeon, best-selling author and a 2016 Presidential candidate. Dr. Carson served as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development during the Trump Administration.

The other featured speakers at the Saturday luncheon include United States Congressmen Chris Smith, NJ-R-04 and Jeff Van Drew, NJ-R-02, along with NJ-07 candidate for The United States House of Representatives, Senator Tom Kean Jr.

Congressman Van Drew of New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District is nationally famous for switching from Democrat to Republican right before the 2020 election.

Van Drew officially announced his switch in The Oval Office with President Donald Trump.

Van Drew went on to defeat a well-funded Amy Kennedy in the election of 2020 by a wide margin to win his second term in office.

Van Drew was the first incumbent member of the United States House of Representatives to switch from the majority party to the minority party.

Van Drew has helped to lead a Republican resurgence in South Jersey, as Republicans have won all 9 of the State Senate and Assembly seats in New Jersey Districts 1,2 and 3 for the first time ever.

Kean, Jr. served as New Jersey State Senate Republican Leader for 14 years and lost a razor thin election to United States Congressman Tom Malinowski in 2020.

Kean, Jr. enters the race as the favorite to unseat the Democrat incumbent.
