Important to Separate Peaceful Protests From Violent Offenders

I have maintained from second one that George Floyd was murdered. There’s no excusing it. Period. I’m confident that justice will be served. Those responsible will be held to account.

I have also carefully observed the various peaceful protests that have taken place in our many communities: Atlantic City, Rio Grande, and Ocean City to name a few.

The peaceful protests are so very important and beautiful. The 1st Amendment to The Constitution of The United States provides specific rights for citizens to peaceably assemble to air grievances.

What I also saw happening here and all around the country during these days of heightened racial tensions and animosity towards law enforcement was the disturbing process of peaceful protests being immediately followed by rioting, violence and looting.

I had no evidence at the time to prove it, but, every fiber of my being told me that the violent activities that followed wonderful, peaceful protests, appeared to be very well coordinated attacks.

This is no longer theory. We now have proof. Our federal government has confirmed that Antifa had previously establishment a plot (last November) to conduct an anti-government insurgency that has been in the works and strategically timed to launch it during the current election cycle.

The Justice for George Floyd protests unfairly became the catalyst for Antifa and like-minded groups and individuals to unleash their reign of terror, destruction and violence throughout American cities.

President Donald Trump recently took executive action to officially designate Antifa as a terrorist organization.

This will dramatically affect the group’s ability to fundraise.

President Trump has said that “the Antifa movement is the most violent, disruptive, and destructive riots often happening beyond the hours of local curfews in the dark of night.”

Further, “in recent days, our nation has been gripped by professional anarchists, violent mobs, arsonists, looters, criminals, rioters, Antifa and others,” said President Trump.

The murder of George Floyd is going to lead to changes in our country that we don’t even yet know. Changes for the better. America is great. America will even be greater.

As for the violent groups that are looking to destabilize and destroy our country, they will fail.

They will fail because we’re The United States of America. We’ll ultimately rally together and prevail against those who wish us harm.
