Roger Stone has had decades long ties to Atlantic County, New Jersey.

He was the General Campaign political strategist for New Jersey Governor Tom Kean’s upset, come-from-behind victory over heavily favored (future) Governor Jim Florio.

Stone has also worked on many other New Jersey state and local campaigns.

Stone was a Margate, Atlantic County property owner for decades.

Stone is now the latest individual with close ties to former President Donald Trump to find himself targeted by the “January 6th” Congressional Committee.

Make no mistake about it, this Committee is very political in nature. It bears no resemblance to the truly bi-partisan Committee that was assembled to investigate the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against our country.

That Committee was highly respected. It had co-chairman, Tom Kean, a Republican and Lee Hamilton, a Democrat.

The Committee was formed with an equal number of Republican and Democrat Members.

The “January 6th” Committee is all highly partisan Democrats and two Republican President Trump haters.

This Committee is a national embarrassment and a disgrace, that appears to be focused more on settling political scores, then getting to the truth about the events of January 6, 2021.

Recently, the Committee charged Trump supporter Steve Bannon with Contempt of Congress and made a criminal referral, whereby a Grand Jury has indicted Bannon on two separate counts.

In the not-too-distant past, a Republican administration held former United States Attorney General Eric Holder and IRS Director Lois Lerner in Contempt of Congress. Neither was ever criminally charged.

The current majority political party has weaponized many of the institutions of our government. This is a very dangerous time in American history,

Now, the “January 6th” Committee has called Roger Stone to appear before it.

Stone has previously stated that he doesn’t have any advanced knowledge about the events of a January 6, 2021 gathering on Capitol Hill.

Stone also confirmed this a few weeks ago on “Hurley in the Morning” on WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM.

Here is Roger Stone’s most recent statement, released last night at 9:52 p.m. as follows:
