An Automated External Defibrillator, or AED, is an important piece of equipment that can be used by anyone to save lives.

You have seen them in airports, schools and other public places.  The AtlantiCare Heart Heroes program raises funds to place these lifesaving devices throughout our community. So far, more than 170 AEDs have been provided by Heart Heroes to our area and they have been used to save lives.  The AtlantiCare Red Dress Reception is a great event that helps increase awareness of heart disease as it raises funds for AEDs.  Robin Stoloff talks with a local cardiologist about AEDs and the Red Dress Reception.
