Mainland Regional High School Freshman Makes USA National Team

A 15-year-old Linwood native is headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina, as part of the 2017 USA Basketball Women's Under-16 National Team.

Congratulations to Mainland Regional High School Freshman Kylee Watson who officially joins the 12-member roster of the USA team, according to Shore News Today.

Watson and her teammates will be a part of the FIBA America U16 Championships which take place from June 7th through June 11th, with the hope of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. The Top 4 teams from the U16 Championships in Buenos Aires will move on to the World Cup.
