Man Dies After Being Hit by Car Along Garden State Parkway in Cape May County

A 22-year-old Cape May Court House man lost his life after being struck and killed along the Garden State Parkway over the weekend.

On Sunday at approximately 3:20 in the morning, Presley Braun was reportedly walking along the northbound lanes of the GSP near mile marker 5.4 in the Middle Twp. section of Cape May County when he was struck and killed.

The driver was a 26-year-old female who stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with New Jersey State Police, according to NJ.com.

Authorities did not offer any information as to why Braun was on foot on the parkway in the middle of the night, or if the driver of the vehicle that hit him was cited for the accident.
