GREENWICH — A Greenwich Township man killed his ex-girlfriend's two kittens with a bow and arrow, and put one in a refrigerator, according to police.

Timothy B. Cain was charged after his ex called police and accused Cain of killing two of the felines with a bow and arrow, police said.

Police found one kitten dead in the backyard of the home and a second kitten stuffed in the home's refrigerator.

Cain was charged with animal cruelty, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and default. He was being held in the Salem County Jail pending $7,500 bail, police said.
