A Millville man is being held on murder and arson charges in the death of a woman employed at the FAA Tech Center in Egg Harbor Township.

On Thursday, Dec. 19, police in Williamstown found the body of Sahlena Blackwell-Jacobs, 22 of Sickerville, in a car on fire on the Black Horse Pike.

Blackwell-Jacobs worked at the FAA William Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township. She was was a contract worker for Riva Solutions, according to a press release from the Tech Center.

John E. Jacobs, 27 is charged with her murder, as well as arson and hindering and obstruction in the investigation of her death. He is being held in the Salem County Jail as the instigation into the "the circumstances surrounding the death of Blackwell-Jacobs are deemed suspicious in nature" according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
