Rest easy Mullica Township and greater Egg Harbor City -- it looks like the Mullica Township alligator has been found.

As expected, it appears he didn't survive the winter.

A local Mullica Township couple, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Butterhof, apparently came across the remains of the alligator in the woods this morning. Their dog Bullet led them to the approximately 36 inch remains of the gator in the woods between Hamburg and Heidleberg Avenue.
