Mullica Twp., NJ, Man Killed When SUV Hits Tree

A Mullica Township man died early Monday morning when his SUV hit a tree.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 AM in the 3200 block of Reading Avenue in the Elwood section of Mullica Township.

Responding officers found a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 30-year-old Nelson P. Narvaez, had left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The crash is being investigated by the Mullica Township Police Department Fatal Accident Unit.
