Here’s some good news. Atlantic County, New Jersey government is now in the hiring business.

A job within County government has proven to be very stable over a number of generations. Additionally, these are jobs that provide great medical health benefits… Which cannot be overstated how important this is for a healthy life.

Working for county government can be extremely rewarding, said Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson. We are looking for responsible, quality candidates to join our team and help us provide the best services for our residents.

The county will conduct on-the-spot interviews for laborers, maintenance repair workers and omnibus operators. Omnibus applicants may be current CDL holders or those interested in obtaining a CDL with available job training.

The job fair will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to  6:00 p.m. at the Atlantic County Public Works Building, located at 101 New Road, Northfield.

You don’t need to make an appointment, however, you can save time by first applying online at: www.atlanticcountynj.gov/human-resources

"Our benefit package is very attractive and includes medical, dental and vision coverage; pension; paid holidays, vacation and sick leave," said Levinson.

"Take time to give us a look. You may be pleasantly surprised,” said Levinson.
