New Development with Indicted Atlantic City High School Principal
New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury recently rejected attempts by Constance Days-Chapman to quash and suppress a subpoena and evidence in her child abuse criminal case.
Below, is a copy of Judge DeLury’s Order that rejected the Days-Chapman request.
We can now confirm that attorney Lee Vartan will formally appeal Judge DeLury’s decision.
Quashing the March 20, 2024 Search Warrants and suppressing the electronic evidence was Days-Chapmans' last best chance regarding the serious criminal charges that she faces.
Days-Chapman is currently fighting for her freedom and her teaching and supervisors certificates.
An Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Days-Chapman on August 17, 2024 on a variety of criminal counts as follows:
- second-degree Official
Misconduct. - one count of second-degree Pattern of Official Misconduct.
- one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
- one count of third-degree Hindering
Apprehension of Another.
Days-Chapman is currently suspended from her position as Principal of Atlantic City High School.
By comparison, Days-Chapmans’ boss, La’Quetta Small has not been suspended by the Atlantic City Board of Education, despite facing a child abuse criminal indictment.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and La’Quetta Small are pursuing the same route … trying to have Judge Dekury quash and suppress subpoenas and electronic evidence that was obtained by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
They should expect to receive the same bad news next week, when Judge DeLury announces his decision regarding Marty and La’Quetta Small.
Days-Chapman has been well served by attorney Lee Vartan, who is one of the most well respected and talented criminal defense attorneys in the state of New Jersey.
We have been trying to shine the light of truth regarding an issue of supreme neglect. The current condition of the Chelsea Little League stadium is deplorable.
The photos below tell the whole ugly story.
