New Jersey U.S. Congressman Announces His Pick For President

United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, NJ-R-2 made big news on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

I conducted an interview with Van Drew that covered many important national issues including:

• Van Drew is the sponsor of the “No Patient Left Alone Act.” If passed into law, this law would prevent patients from dying alone in a hospital bed; while family members are prevented from being with their loved ones for any reason.
• Highland Park, Illinois July 4, 2022 Independence Day Parade mass shooting, which killed 7 people and wounded 36 others.
• Van Drew’s own re-election bid in 2022.
• The significance of the 2022 national mid-term elections to be held on November 8, 2022.
• A look at the 2024 national elections, which Van Drew described as the most consequential election since the Civil War more than 157 years ago.

At the last minute of the interview, I asked Van Drew who he will be supporting for President of The United States in 2024.

Without hesitation, Van Drew responded, “If President Trump runs, I will be supporting President Trump,” said Van Drew.

Just like that. Van Drew was unambiguous and unequivocal in his support for President Trump running for a second term.

This is the first time that Van Drew has disclosed this in an interview.
