
Pennsylvania Fugitive Captured in West Wildwood, NJ
A fugitive from Pennsylvania has been captured in one of the smallest towns in South Jersey.
Vehicle Stop Leads to Arrest
The North Wildwood Police Department says on Thursday, one of their officers stopped a vehicle on the 600 block of West Glenwood Avenue in West Wildwood.
That officer recognized the passenger, 31-year-old Joseph Davies of Chester, PA, as a wanted person from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Davies was placed under arrest and, according to the department, a search found him in possession of methamphetamine.
Charges Filed
Davies was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was placed on a warrant as per bail reform guidelines and transported to the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
