Pennsville Grandparents Take Home $5.2 Million Winning Lottery Ticket

A couple from Pennsville are $5.2 million richer after winning Monday's Pick-6 XTRA jackpot.

Sam and Kathy tell KYW-TV that when they heard there was a winning ticket they immediately went online and were shocked to discover it was them.

Reportedly, the 5 numbers they played were their grandkids' birthdays.

Thanks to the win the store that sold the ticket, Rachel's Deli, will also be receiving a $10,000 bonus.

Sam is a retired pipe fitter and Vietnam Marine veteran and Kathy is a retired power plant employee.
