I was reading a very interesting CNN Medical report and I was so very pleased about the current results of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

Regarding the potential life-saving COVID-19 vaccine, we now know that at least one of the vaccines will last for at least six months, according to the two companies.

We won’t know exactly how long the vaccines will remain effective until more time passes to measure.

The Phase 3 clinical trial of Pfizer/BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine is ongoing, but, it is confirmed that its protection will last for at least six months, if you have taken both doses.

The Pfizer/BioNTech study will continue and as more time elapses, we’ll learn how long and how strong the protection will ultimate be.

In still more great news, the study has confirmed that the vaccine remains more than 91% effective against the disease for six months, according to the two companies.
Finally, in yet more great news, the study concludes that the current vaccine is fully effective against the concerning B.1.351 variant of the virus.
This is known as the South African variant. Researchers had been concerned that the existing vaccines might not provide protection. This does not appear to be the case according to the Pfizer/BioNTech companies.
