- Cocaine and meth were found hidden in a board game sent from Atlanta to London
- The drugs were under cat food in a "return-to-sender" package
- CBP officers seized the narcotics and launched an investigation
On the surface, it was a board game that a child might play; however, inside of it, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Philadelphia found a stash of cocaine and methamphetamine.
Cocaine and Meth Hidden Inside Game Box
Federal officials say on July 30th, CBP officers examined a package that was manifested as "boardgame" and bound for London. Once they opened it, they found a zip-locked bag and a vacuum-sealed bag concealed under a bag of cat food, inside a box for the "5 Second Rule, Jr." game.
That zip-lock bag contained 18 ounces of cocaine, while the vacuum-sealed bag contained 6.5 ounces of pink pills that tested positive for methamphetamine.
The parcel was being shipped from Atlanta to its origination address in London after being posted as return to sender.
CBP officers seized the narcotics and they are continuing their investigation.
