Former New Jersey Assemblyman Vince Polistina, who is the Republican Nominee for the New Jersey Senate in District 2 has issued a strong rebuke of Governor Phil Murphy and Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo.

Polistina finds incredulous the Governor’s explanation of the spike in violent crime in Atlantic City is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with increasing temperature and humidity.

"Governor Murphy is clueless on this topic and Vince Mazzeo should have the guts to call him out on it.  The spike in crime in Atlantic City isn't about COVID or the weather, it's about a Democratic Party across this country that has targeted our brave law enforcement as scapegoats and consistently undermines the rule of law, said Polistina."

"When Vince Mazzeo sides with radicals in Trenton who accuse our police of being the bad guys, and give the real bad guys a pass, runaway crime is the result.  Time for new leadership in Trenton,” concluded Polistina.

General Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, 2021, however, for the first time ever in New Jersey history, there will be a substantial early voting period at the polls.
