Thieves take $300,000 worth of jewelry, handbags from Cape May, NJ, store
Authorities in Cape May are asking for help from the public to track down thieves who stole $300,000 worth of merchandise from a high-end jewelry store.
Queen May Jewelry in Cape May, NJ, Robbed
The crime happened around 3:00 early Sunday morning, May 5th, at Queen May Jewelry at 325 Washington Street.
The store posted surveillance video clips to their Instagram account in hopes of identifying those responsible.
WPVI-TV reports one of the items that was taken was a rare Louis Vuitton trunk with "Jenny Hecht" on its side.
The heist is said to be valued at more than $300,000.
