The Glassboro Police Department is investigating a fatal single-car crash on Route 322 Monday afternoon.

Authorities say the crash happened just after 4:00 at mile marker 18.6, near 270 East High Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed a 62-year-old man, driving westbound in a black 2022 Toyota Camry, lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road, struck a utility pole, and then overturned.

The driver, who was not identified by police, was pronounced dead after being flown to Cooper Hospital in Camden.
