A safe surrender event being held next week will give people from Cape May and Atlantic Counties with outstanding non-violent warrants the chance to get right with the law.

The event is being held in Middle Township from 9AM to 5PM October 16th at Christ Gospel Love Center at 2209 Route 9 South in Whitesboro.

Most outstanding bench warrants for Municipal and Superior Court matters originating in Atlantic and Cape May counties can be addressed, with judges on-site to handle traffic tickets, criminal complaints, child court and family court complaints.

Several social service agencies will also be at the event to provide information about community resources such as employment services, vocational training, the Motor Vehicle Commission, mental health and substance abuse treatment groups, as well as legal, housing and veterans assistance.

If you plan on attending, bring some identification; drivers licence, birth certificate or photo I.D.
