Just how busy was one police department in Atlantic County over the past couple of weeks?

In a 15-day period from November 16th through the 30th, the Hamilton Township Police Department handled over 620 calls for service.

Among those calls were 22 arrests, 31 domestic violence incidents, 62 motor vehicle crashes, and over 400 traffic stops.

Some of those arrests included the following:

  • On November 17th, a 23-year-old woman from Woodbury Heights was arrested and charged with contempt of court, shoplifting, and possession of burglary tools
  • On November 20th, a 39-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun, possession of a large capacity magazine, and possession of hollow point bullets
  • On November 20th, a 23-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township was arrested and charged with shoplifting
  • On November 21st, a 39-year-old woman from Hammonton was arrested and charged with contempt of court, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • On November 21st, a 25-year-old man from Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault
  • On Thanksgiving Day, a 40-year-old man from Mays Landing was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and aggravated assault
  • On November 24th, a 46-year-old woman from Egg Harbor City was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • On November 25th, a 40-year-old man from Mays Landing was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and shoplifting
  • On November 25th, a 70-year-old man from Mays Landing was arrested and charged with theft by deception
  • On November 28th, a 42-year-old woman from Atlantic City was arrested and charged with shoplifting
  • On November 28th, a 43-year-old man from Galloway was arrested for active warrants
  • On November 30th, a 30-year-old man from Marlton was arrested for active warrants
  • On November 30th, a 42-year-old man from Mays Landing was arrested for active warrants
