Small plane crashes in residential NJ area, 2 people injured, cops say

LINDENWOLD — Authorities are investigating a small plane that has crashed in Camden County.

Police say the crash took place in Lindenwold, on Linden Avenue

County officials told 6ABC Action News that the two people aboard the plane were taken to Cooper Trauma Center, but the extent of their injuries is not know.

According to Action News, officials said the crash occurred around 1 p.m. and there is a large amount of fuel leaking from the wreckage. Lindenwold police are asking people to avoid the area of Linden Avenue as rescue crews and police investigate the situation.
