South Jersey Police ‘Ride For Those Who Died’ in Unity Bike Tour
Every year, officers of South Jersey partake in a biking excursion called the Police Unity Tour in honor of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Not only is the bike tour an opportunity for officers across states to come together to raise awareness for the fallen, but its purpose is to also raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.
The South Jersey Chapter II has expanded to over 200 officers who partake in the tour which starts in Absecon on May 10th as they ride their way to Washington, DC, until May 12th. The Chapter II officers will also participate in the National Law Enforcement Candlelight Vigil on May 13th.
South Jersey police officers are proud to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty and are calling it the, "Ride For Those Who Died." They're also looking for your help in raising funds to support South Jersey police officers, the tour, and the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum. You can do so by donating to local officers pages like George and Rob from EHT!
