
Police-involved Shooting Under Investigation in South Toms River, NJ
South Toms River, N.J. — Authorities in Ocean County are investigating a non-fatal police-involved shooting.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer says his office and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office's Crime Scene Investigation Unit are currently investigating a non-fatal police officer-involved shooting that occurred in South Toms River on at about 9:49 Wednesday night, April 29th.
Few Details Released Due to State Guidelines
Billhimer said no further information is being released at this time pursuant to a New Jersey Attorney General directive.
A public statement will be released upon completion of the investigation, with the approval of the Attorney General.
