The Ocean City, NJ North Street Beach Christmas Tree Is Spectacular

This is such a creative and fantastic idea.

Ocean City, New Jersey markets itself as “America’s Greatest Family Resort.”

Presently on the beach In Ocean City … on what they call “North Beach” is a Christmas Tree, along with hundreds of hand crafted beach shell ornaments.

The beach shell ornaments are placed on the tree and hundreds more are neatly assembled directly on the beach, near 9 Beach Road … directly across from the now closed North End Beach Grill.

Ocean City has so many great traditions. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Here is just a small example of what it looks like. In reality, it’s a massive display of hand painted beach shells that appears to stretch as far as the eye can see.

It’s wonderful.

I’m so happy to have learned about this beautiful tradition.

It’s another example about the great spirit of community that exists in Ocean City.

On the “Ocean City, NJ - My Happy Place,” Facebook Page there was a question posted, asking how long will this display last?

The question has not yet been answered.

It’s such a beautiful, colorful display … We hope that it remains for a while longer.

It also serves as a fun, crafty family activity that all ages can participate in equally.

We think that The Ocean City Beach Christmas Tree is a great idea.
