Time For Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie To Go Away

In the various polls, Chris Christie receives anywhere from 1 to 3 percent of the vote in the race for the Republican Nomination for President of The United States.

His standing in the polls is abysmal. In other words, his poll numbers are usually within the margin of error to zero.

Yet, like Anthony Fauci, who famously said that “I am Science” … Christie has somehow nominated himself in similar fashion, saying, "You have to be willing to offend with the truth," said Christie in the 4th Republican debate on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

It appears that Christie barely made it to the debate stage under the Republican National Committee qualifying rules.

Christie has also decided on behalf of hundreds of millions of Americans that former United States President Donald Trump is not mentally fit to serve a second term.

Christie got into a shouting match … yelling at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis about Trump’s mental fitness.

As a Republican, Christie should be questioning President Joe Biden’s fitness rather than attack the prohibitive Republican front runner (Trump) who currently leads the Republican field by 40-50 points in every poll.

Trump also leads Biden head-to-head by 7 points nationally in the latest poll.

Trump also leads Biden in 5 of the 6 “Battleground States” that will decide who will be the next President of The United States.

It has become readily apparent to see that Christie is not really running for President.

No sane person would offend a majority of the American people and expect that they could win the Republican Nomination, or, be elected President of The United States.

For inexplicable reasons this is Christie’s bizarre strategy … to criticize the vast majority of Republicans, who want Trump to be their nominee for President.

We’ve all heard of candidates attacking their rivals, however, you don’t win elections by insulting the electorate, which is exactly what Christie is doing.

Christie has crossed the rubicon with Trump and now with DeSantis.

Christie has run a self-absorbed, self-indulgent, obnoxious campaign that has not been well received anywhere in America … except with those who dislike President Trump.

When Christie’s campaign crashes and burns in the not too distant future … he’ll have to turn to ABC News, CNN and MSNBC … where they will cordially welcome him to keep politically attacking Trump.

Christie, Liz Cheney, Bill Kristol and their fellow “Never Trumpers” will all live happily ever after in the land of misfit toys.
