
Two Indicted in June Fatal Shooting of 17-year-old in Atlantic City
A man and a woman were indicted Thursday in connection to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old man in Atlantic City back in June.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says 31-year-old Lewis Johnson of Newark, NJ, and 35-year-old Shaquana Lewis of Pleasantville were arrested in June in Pennsylvania.
Johnson is indicted on first degree murder and second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose charges. Lewis has been indicted on first degree murder and first degree conspiracy to commit murder charges.
The indictments stem from an incident on June 8th when Atlantic City Police received a 911 call reporting a victim with multiple gunshot wounds. When officers arrived at 2009 Blaine Ave., the juvenile victim was located on the second floor balcony of the residence. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division where he was pronounced dead.
