A man from Villas is facing charges after being arrested on January 31st following a narcotics investigation.

43-year-old Andrew Wells of Lower Township has been charged with possession of CDS (methamphetamine) and possession with the intent to distribute CDS. He was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center pursuant to bail reform.

Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland says members of the Gangs Guns and Narcotics Task Force (GGNTF) and the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate Andrew Wells in Rio Grande and observed him entering a vehicle and departing the area. A motor vehicle stop was performed and over one ounce of crystal methamphetamine was seized from the vehicle.
