Vineland Man Indicted in 108 MPH Buena Vista Twp. Fatal Crash
Vineland, N.J. — A Vineland man has been charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash in Buena Vista Township last year.
On Wednesday, an Atlantic County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Alfredo I. Huertas-Vidal stemming from the November 2025 crash that killed his passenger.
Fatal Crash Happened on Post Road
According to prosecutors, investigators determined Huertas-Vidal was traveling on Post Road in Buena Vista Township at approximately 108 MPH and had narcotics in his system at the time of the crash. Authorities said his vehicle left the roadway on multiple occasions before ultimately striking a tree in the woods.
Huertas-Vidal's front seat passenger, 43-year-old Luis D. Martinez, also from Vineland, died as a result of the crash.

This fatal crash investigation was a cooperative effort by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office's Crash Investigations Unit and the New Jersey State Police.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
