When it comes to education, the Garden State gets a big A+, according to a new report just released by the Education Week Research Center.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that New Jersey tops the entire nation for education in the just-released Quality Counts 2019 reports. Students in New Jersey were tops when it comes to performance from K through 12 and they have the most education opportunities.

Some of the criteria used to determine the state ranking includes test scores, diplomas and national data, state data and just how prepared students are for college.

Overall, New Jersey get a B+ grade and a score of 87.8 out of 100 to earn the title as the #1 state for education!
