Friday is the day to honor and thank those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. If you've served or are an active member of the military, there could be some free meals in your future! 

Here’s a list of local South Jersey restaurants from The Balance, who are giving away free meals as a way of thanking our veterans on their special day.

Chili’s: Get you free meal at any participating Chili’s. You’ll have to show proof of your military service.

Olive Garden: Also offering free meals for all active-duty military and military veterans. Proof of military service required.

Applebee’s: Free meals for veterans and active duty military members with a valid ID.

Denny’s: Build Your Own Grand Slam Breakfast from 5:00 AM to Noon for all active, non-active, and retired military personnel with proper ID. The menu has all different items for you to choose from.

IHOP: Free stacks of Red, White and Blue pancakes for active military men and women with valid ID.

Outback Steakhouse: You can get a get a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage. Must show military ID.

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert on Thursday and Friday (11/10-11/11) for active duty military, reserve and military veterans.

T.G.I. Fridays: T.G.I. Friday’s is offering free lunch from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. at any participating restaurant for all veterans and active-duty military with valid ID.

Carrabba's Italian Grill:  Free appetizer of your choice through Sunday 11/13. Military ID required.   

Friendly’s: Friendly’s is offering veterans a free breakfast, lunch or dinner. You must dine-in and show proof of military service.

Golden Nugget Atlantic City: Friday, November 11 - Simply show your military ID for 20% off: Restaurants: Lillie's Asian Cuisine, Grotto, Michael Patrick's & The Buffet; Spa & Salon: Any 50 or 80 minute treatment; Retail: Style & Trend, 1946, Tint, Cool Jeans, d'Oro, The Signature Shoppe & Essentials. Must show valid Military ID at purchase for eligibility.
