Williamstown Man Killed in Wrong-way Crash on Atlantic City Expressway
A tragic accident in Gloucester Township on the Atlantic City Expressway has resulted in one fatality and one person being badly injured.
NJ.com reports 29-year-old Michael Lamond, Jr., was traveling west on the Atlantic City Expressway early Sunday morning when a driver hit him head-on, traveling east in the westbound lanes near mile marker 42.
Lamond, Jr., was killed while the driver that was traveling in the opposite direction was badly injured and transported to a local hospital where he currently remains for treatment.
Details about why the driver was traveling on the wrong side of the expressway have not been released. No additional information about the accident has been reported.
