
Assailant Stabs Man During Atlantic City Casino Robbery
An Atlantic City man faces numerous charges after he allegedly robbed another man at a casino and stabbed him in the arm with a box cutter.
Authorities tell The Press of Atlantic City that 37-year-old city resident Kareem Taylor stole $96 from the 27-year-old victim around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Caesars. Casino security ran after Taylor, who was soon found in the rear yard of a home and taken into custody by city police officer Marinela Pali and her canine partner, Roxy.
Taylor and the victim were both treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Taylor was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and weapons offenses. He was being held on $150,000 bail, and it was not known if he has retained an attorney.
